-Die Schutzgebiete, in denen ein Geocache liegt, werden nur durch die [[Koordinaten]] ermittelt, die der Besitzer des Geocaches im Kopf des [[Listing|Cachelistings]] angegeben hat. Wurde also z.B. ein Parkplatz als Koordinate angegeben und der Geocache liegt 50m daneben in einem Naturschutzgebiet, so kann die Opencaching-Software dies nicht anzeigen (die umgedrehte Konstellation ist natürlich auch denkbar). Ebenso können einzelne Stationen oder das Finale von [[Multicache]]s andere Schutzgebiete betreffen. Opencaching.de kann nur die Schutzgebiete an der Koordinate des Listingeintrags anzeigen.

If the coordinates of a geocache listing are not the real location of the geocache, then the displayed information on a protected area may be wrong or missing. The same counts on any stage or final of a multi geocache. They could even be located in different protected areas.
